use of herbicide on riverbank

13:57 Mar 1 2013 River Leam, Warwickshire, UK

Description
the council has been spraying the path through the woodland area between Riverside and Princes Drive in Leamington with Monsanto Roundup, a glyphosate herbicide which contains other toxins known to be carcinogenic. This measure is completely unnecessary and the path they have been spraying the edges of has a cinder-type coating. Parts of the area sprayed have flooded frequently in the last few months.... perhaps you could help make them more aware of the dangers of spraying toxic chemicals in such an area?
